Ever since I watched No Strings Attached, I've been dreaming of visiting the Urban Light installation outside of the

Los Angeles County Museum of Art

. The installation consists of 202 restored cast-iron street lamps from the 1920s and 1930s, which at one point lit up the streets of Southern California. The historic lamp posts are beautiful during the day because you can very clearly see the patterns and designs that are etched into each one. I'm sure that it is even more magical at night, but we sadly didn't have enough time to go back.

I still can't believe that we're no longer surrounded by palm trees and everlasting sunshine. Our entire experience in just six short days was surreal. I wish I captured more moments from our trip, but I wanted to absorb as much as the city not through lens, but through my eyes. I don't think I've ever fallen in love with a place to the extent where I would be willing to move there if the opportunity ever came up. The view of this city is something that I wouldn't mind waking up to

every single day

.

Have you ever traveled to LA?
