Like the old adage goes: you only have one chance to make a great first impression. A few weeks ago, I had received an e-mail from one of my readers requesting for a post on what to wear on a first date. In effort of helping her out, I had put together a day-to-evening outfit that is season appropriate. Since it is the initial meeting, my recommendation would be to wear something that is flattering but not overdone. I pieced together a very basic quarter sleeve boatneck top with a feminine pleated skirt and had added my favourite DVF Asher belt to accentuate the waist and to elevate the outfit. If you're not used to wearing heels, you may want to opt for a pair of comfortable ballerinas so you don't look bothered!
A personal preference of mine would be to pair a romantic outfit with simple accessories, such as this beautiful Maya Brenner asymmetrical mini letter "A" necklace and Bfrend Flora bracelet.
