After a long self-debate on whether or not it was worth investing in a pantsuit, I finally did it. Not because it's super trendy at the moment, but because it doesn't hurt to own one. There is a sense of confidence that comes out when I'm wearing a suit. When it came down to picking one, the options were endless but I undoubtedly went with an option that was the most classic. A double-breasted check blazer with a lapel collar and a matching pair of straight-leg trousers. I styled it with a simple lace camisole and a pair of ankle boots for a mix of masculine-feminine. The trousers are still a tad bit long for my shorter frame so I will likely need to take them in so they can be worn with recently-purchased mules.
