Romantic Lace

With summer right around the corner, I'm transitioning my wardrobe into more light and airy pieces. One of my most recent purchases is this sheer lace blouse from Express. The ruffly neckline and vintage lace exudes a sweet and romantic vibe perfect for date nights. I draw a lot of inspiration from Chloe's collections so I decided to style it with a jumpsuit and of course, my favourite Chloe mini drew bag. As much as I would love to be able to afford pieces from Chloe's collections, they're just not budget-friendly so I try to find items that are similar in the sense that they are pretty and delicate, but also functional. I love caving to the occasional trend, but what saves my wallet is buying pieces that can be worn across multiple seasons and for various occasions.

Another season favourite are slides and mules. There was a point in my life where I swore that I would never wear these, but here I am with a pair purchased from Call It Spring. The ones that I am wearing here are the Cici Velvett, but the sizing options are running low so I'm suggesting a pair of affordable ones from Tony Bianco and more pricy ones from Mansur Gavriel. I did also pick up a pair of slides, but you'll have to wait for my next post to see them!
