It has only been a week, but I already wish that I was back in Montreal lounging around inside of Hotel William Gray with my best friend. To say that this is a beautiful hotel is simply an understatement. The charming boutique hotel opened its doors in the heart of Old Montreal last summer and has been a little hidden gem yet to be discovered. I love that they support local and have both a lifestyle clothing boutique and café situated inside. The lobby on the ground floor was designed almost like a historic library and the darker tones created a very warm and welcoming atmosphere for us. The space was filled with cushioned arm chairs and books (including some beautiful coffee table books!).

However, it wasn't just the lavish interior that had me oo-ing and ah-ing but the service that elevated the experience, making it one of the most memorable hotel stays for me. We were blown away upon arrival and received the most pleasant service from the staff from the time we set foot into the hotel all the way until check out. It was the little details, such as calling us to ask for our first impressions to being greeted at our room doors with water bottles and chocolate. We were placed in a room on the highest floor overlooking the breathtaking city and the view took us away making us believe that we were no longer in Montreal, but somewhere far far away. If you're looking for a place to stay in Old Montreal the next time you're visiting this city, I would highly recommend Hotel William Gray — you won't be disappointed!
