Why bother with changing when you can wear your PJs out?  This is one of the newest spring trends and a few designers have brought sleepwear-as-daywear to the runways. This is probably one of the most easy and comfortable trends I’ve seen (after UGGs, of course). Whether it be a night shirt, robe or full on silk pajama set, it is now deemed socially acceptable to wear this out in the public. Here’s one way to make it work outside of the bedroom.

Silk Pajamas (4).jpg

I haven’t quite reached the comfort level of wearing a full pajama set out, but this printed silk shirtdress is pretty close. I didn’t want to seem like I literally just rolled out of bed, so I chose to go with something more casual and paired them with black jeans and a leather jacket. One tip: Instead of wearing a pair of house slippers, opt for a nice pair of lace or strappy heels to look more put-together. I tucked a portion of the shirt in for a more laid-back look. I’ve been obsessed with this trend after  seeing it on runways and celebrities. I can’t wait to invest in a few more PJ shirts! Shop my pajama picks below —
