Finally paid a visit to this hidden gem in Toronto this past weekend for a meet-up with Vicki and Natalie. The space was quiet and beautiful with a European charm. Just a door away is Marché, the market-style restaurant that offers a variety of gourmet international delights. We walked in and was surprised by how empty it was, but that just meant more space for us to take photos (haha). I love the leather banquette, marble tables and wall trims. There weren’t too many food options since it was a cafe and if you wanted a true brunch/lunch experience, you can probably just go next door to Marché. It was tough deciding between the quiche, almond croissant or fruit danish, but I did go with the fruit danish in the end because fruits always means that it is the healthier option, right? I ordered a decaf soy latte because I’m determined to find something that tastes similar to what I had at Sightglass Coffee in SF, but this was no comparison. Hopefully I’ll have better luck next time! However, this was the perfect spot to do a little bit of shooting and catching up with these ladies.
