Knits & Pleats

And last but not least, the fifth and final outfit from Toronto Fashion Week. We caught the Stephan Caras F/W ’16 show and it did not disappoint. The father-and-son duo were inspired by the seduction, drama and sparkle of the night and left the guests in complete awe with the cut outs, plunging neck lines and strappy details coming down the runway.

After returning from San Francisco, I have been feeling somewhat unmotivated, likely because I’m no longer waking up to perfect weather, conversations that did not revolve solely around work, and the best food and drinks. To be quite truthful, as much as I love blogging, there are days where I encounter writer’s block and cease to do anything blogging-related. There are also a lot of misconceptions around blogging and how it appears on social media vs. the reality of it all. The weekend morning shoots and the weeknight editing and writing can be quite consuming. The beautiful brunch spreads you see require 50+ takes and what you don’t see are the bags containing our camera equipment, multiple outfits to change into and product items to shoot. It’s tiring just thinking about it all, but the end result is so so so worth it. After a little break away from writing and editing, I’m back on track, feeling uplifted and ready to plan more posts and outfits for you!
