Looking forward to warm spring days so I can wear this outfit without a coat. After saving this crewneck ribbed sweater for quite a few weeks, I finally had the chance to style it with this crossover midi skirt and lace-up flats. It’s a beautiful soft knit with a wool and linen blend making it appropriate for multiple seasons. It’s light enough to be worn underneath a jacket or blazer, or even just on it’s own. Even though it was decently warm outside, we wanted to shoot indoors for one reason: this beautiful backdrop. The sunlight was working with us throughout the entire shoot and the photos turned out much better than expected. Initially, I thought that the white ensemble wouldn't work against the white brick walls, but thankfully the abundance of natural lighting emitting through the large-scale windows only helped bring out the beauty of the details!

With fashion week happening all over the world, I’ve been incredibly inspired to pull together looks that are show-appropriate. Toronto Fashion Week is coming up and I’m looking forward to seeing all of the fashionable ladies and gentlemen at the tents! Instead of going as media this season, I will only be attending the TFI Press & Buyers Tradeshow and a few runway shows. Will you be attending TFW?
