A day trip to Dineen Coffee was a day well spent. Vicki and I had plans to finally shoot inside of this exquisite cafe and while doing so, we managed to capture these beautiful photos. After jumping around from table to table (3 times!), we finally ended up in this perfect corner spot seated on the leather banquette. Everything in this coffee shop was impressive — from the floor-to-ceiling windows, custom marble countertops and hand-painted tile floors to the lattes. I tried their decaf vanilla latte for the very first time and fell in love (and even ended up having two cups).
In less than a month, I will be back in California again, but this time exploring the other wonders that the west coast has to offer. What I learned this past year is to worry less and travel more. Ever since I was young, I held back on traveling because school always came first but as I grew older, it was set back because of financial reasons. It’s still a hindrance, but I want to be able to enjoy my twenties while I am still young — so this year will be about letting go of my worries and allowing myself to explore the charms of the world. I’ll be crossing Joshua Tree and San Francisco off my bucket list first and then Iceland in May. In the next two years, I definitely want to be able to tour Asia and Europe so fingers crossed that this will happen!
