It’s that time of year again — where we stow away the off-the-shoulder tops and take out the knits and turtlenecks. To help transition myself into the cooler season, I mixed two of my favourite pieces together from two different seasons. The Babaton slip dress from Summer and a classic black turtleneck from Fall. So long are the days where slips can only be worn on it’s own as lingerie because now they are considered a functional layering piece, perfect over t-shirts, sweaters and even pants. When you don’t want to let go of your dresses yet, this is one way to keep them around for a little longer, all while staying warm. I paired the outfit with my Cole Haan calf-hair ankle boots and Coach bag for the ultimate Fall look.
