You know that something is absolutely stunning when LIKEtoKNOW.it regrams it and receives 1,500+ Likes! Designed by the beautiful Brandy Pham, this cylinder bracelet was inspired by the architectural door hinges from her trip to Paris.
The avant-garde outfit that I assembled was fitting and captured beautifully in the reflection of the MaRS building. This crisp white waistcoat is the definition of a classic summer staple. There's nothing like a polished silhouette vest that can be styled for many occasions.
What I love most about a monochromatic outfit is that it requires very minimal effort to pull together and yet still exudes a half-smart-half-chic kind of sophistication. They practically resemble a jumpsuit, but without the hassle of needing to wrestle with it in order to take it off. These navy blue joggers are the epitome of causal sophistication. I was on my way out of the store when the corner of my left eye caught a glimpse of these on the sale rack. Don't you just love it when that happens?
There's nothing more refreshing than throwing on a loose-fitting white frock on a hot summer day. Paired this dress with two of my latest faves - my new Anya Hindmarch bag that I purchased a few weeks ago in New York and comfiest pair of sandals from Joe Fresh.
While I was in NYC, I stopped by the quaint Pretty Ballerinas store that is nestled in the corner of the 67th and Madison Ave. I've been dreaming about visiting this place for months and the chance finally came last weekend. As soon as you enter through the doors, you will notice the charming pink walls, French antique chandeliers and gold-rimmed mirrors. I stepped in with the intention of purchasing a pair of ballet flats, but walked out of the store with these drop-dead gorgeous leopard loafers instead. There is definitely a lot more personality to these beauts!
After an extended winter, shorts season has finally arrived and I'm thrilled to welcome in my newest summer staple: a pair of J.Crew matelassé shorts. These are ridiculously comfortable (they're pull-ups - can you tell?) and are perfect to transition us from spring over to the summer. You can easily dress them up with a silk blouse or down with a casual tee / slouchy sweater. Whatever you decide to wear with these, the possibilities are simply endless.
Silk. Shift. Silhouette.
After spending the summer months trialing colours, patterns and prints, I’m ready to retreat back to my old sanctuary of blacks this season. Asides from loving everything the fall season has to offer, such as the beautiful foliage, warm pies and apple cider, I’m predominantly looking forward to the fashion. The fall trend that has really grown on me recently is leather.
Silk. Shift. Silhouette. The three words which perfectly describes the kinds of fashion pieces I tend to gravitate towards. This Joe Fresh lightweight blouse encompasses all three S’s so I truly believe that Joe produced this beautiful shirt just for me (just kidding!). I love the soft, sheer fabric as well as the modern sophistication it exudes with the natural loose draping and high neckline.
