The perfect holiday gift set contains a pair of lotion body scrubs and soap bars. I received this holiday gift set from Vo Bath & Co. and I'm already in love with the products because they are made from natural ingredients. I've shared previously that I have very sensitive skin so these are amazing! In the package, there was a Bloom and Coffee body scrub, as well as a La Femme and Detox soap bar.
2016 – New Year's Resolutions
Whether it be a day trip to a coffee shop, a night out on the town or traveling, I always rely on a few key products. Here’s a round-up of my favourite beauty products that I take along with me wherever I go.
Little Things | Late November
Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed a memorable NYE celebration and a wonderful fresh start to 2016. Terrance and I rang in the new year with our loved ones with a small celebration at our place. It was a night to remember with a lot of sangria, wine, bread and cheese (and us screaming at the top of our lungs over Heads Up!).
Top 5 Bags
A glimpse of what I've been up to this past November.
Little things | three scents
Asides from my obsession with shoes, I've also grown a love for bags overtime. Within the last three years, I've learned to invest in bags that would last me for years and would love until the end of time. What I've realized is that one size doesn't fit all, which is why I try to look for bags of different shapes and sizes and would be appropriate for various occasions, be it special or not. Today, I'm sharing with you my top 5 favourite bags...
Little things | marble DIY
Three of my absolute favourite all-season scents, each for different occasions.
Instead of capturing the entire DIY process, I decided to just share with you the before and after look at my new coffee table. The process wasn’t smooth as I expected, to say the least. At one point, my girlfriend and I gave up entirely after noticing never-ending air bubbles even after using a ruler, credit card, soft cloth to smooth it out. But… with persistence, I managed to pick up the marble contact paper again and completed the DIY, even if that meant staying up past midnight. What I took away from this daunting DIY is that it would have been a good idea to spray Windex over the coffee table prior to applying the contact paper to ease the peeling, clever to carefully measure before the initial application, and to use my hands instead of a credit card or sharp object because it would help alleviate scratches and permanent tears in the paper. In the end, I’m pretty impressed with how it turned out even though it’s not perfect. The coffee table now looks much more expensive and is less prone to dirt!
I love Sundays. It's my favourite day in the week, even though it's the day before the start of a new week and the Monday we all try to avoid. I love Sundays not only because I get to sleep in, but because I can wake up to an often sunlit room and feel immediately rejuvenated. It's a point of reflection for me and time for me to do everything that I love, such as read my magazines, catch up on my social media and blog feeds, and lay around doing simply everything I want or sometimes nothing at all.
