The Shoe Diary

Over the last few years, I have really become a shoe-holic. I used to own a handful of shoes and wear them over and over again until they're worn out. Now, I'm finding myself splurging on shoes (and bags) instead of clothes. It's true - they are the best accessory to perfect your outfit.

Top L-R: Topshop 'Margot' leather booties, Cole Haan booties, Zara two-tone booties, Red Valentino velvet flocked booties
Bottom L-R: Valentino 'Rockstud' patent leather courts, Zara lace slingback heels, Zara khaki lace-up heels, JustFab 'Emmey' heels

Here is just a small collection of some of my favourite shoes and of course, you'll find a mix of lace, leather and suede. My spring go-tos will be my Valentino rockstud's, paired with a slip dress or distressed boyfriend jeans and tee. I love beautifully handcrafted designer shoes, but my heart also has a place for more trendy and reasonably-priced heels. Zara is the one store that I love going to for shoes. I love the price, the quality and the fit. In fact, it's probably the one place I trust for a pair of well-fitted heels or flats. The downside is that the best ones and most common shoe sizes (I'm a 37) are the ones to go first. However, I have had a lot of success with finding shoes that have gone out of stock on eBay!

Which shoe is your favourite?
