I’m obsessed with Chloé’s Fall/Winter 2016 Collection, but know that the pieces are ones that I will never be able to afford so I’ve gone and recreated a look for a lot less. Light fabrics, subtle pleats and beautiful movement in the pieces have made their way into Chloé’s designs season after season. Their aesthetic is always romantic so I tried to replicate that in this look.
As I was browsing Zara’s new arrivals section, I came across this red pleated dress. At first glance, it reminded me of the babydoll dress that I reunited with recently, but something different about it caught my eyes — the sleeves. We all know that big sleeves made a dramatic statement in Spring/Summer, but looks like this trend will be carried right into Fall. I also noticed that Tibi's S/S '17 Collection features these pretty little details. I styled it with my Chloé mini drew bag and my trusty pair of Fall booties. These are my go-to ankle boots for special occasions and when I want to go for an extra-feminine look. The velvet lace details and blush pink soles still make my heart flutter.
