Spotted this dress hidden in the racks at the Aritzia store (another score for shopping in-store which is starting to make me rethink my online shopping habits). When I first tried this on in the change room, I felt a tug at the front of my neck before I realized that I was wearing the dress backwards. After turning it around the right way, I didn't actually like the look as much. Since there are no rules in fashion, I went ahead with the purchase so I can wear it backwards. It's a crinkly fabric which I actually quite love because it helps to hide your body flaws. The vertical stripes also helps to elongate the body and who doesn't want to look more tall and slim?
Victoria and I spent the morning scouting for a shoot location with no luck until we came across this building with the cutest pink awning. I had my doubts because of the green door which made it look more like a watermelon than something suitable for my blog aesthetics, but a little photoshop always does the trick!
