For the love of comfort, I’ve jumped onto the sneaker bandwagon and slipped into a pair of these cap-toe sneakers. These are not just a pair of simple sneakers, but one that has high-shine dipped toes for a chic twist and a slight platform for elevated comfort. What I like most about this pair of Dr. Martens Alexei sneakers is that they have an air-cushioned sole so that it feels like you’re walking on clouds. This is especially important to have for weekends exploring in your own city or traveling in another. After some pretty awful traveling experiences with ballet flats and sandals, I learned that a pair of comfortable sneakers is probably your best friend when it comes to airport security and long-distance walking (which is an always when you plan on exploring). With my trip to California coming up next week, I plan on packing with me a pair of sneakers for those uphill climbs and runners for hikes.

Now that the weather is warming up, I’m finding more reasons to wear this lightweight knit coat. It’s probably one of the softest coats I own and more comparable to a cardigan, which is why a wool scarf is still necessary. Easy, relaxed outfits like this one is great for weekend errand runs or as an airport uniform.
