My go-to trend these past few seasons has been the shoulder robe — the concept of draping a jacket or coat over your shoulder. I've been using a short, lightweight jacket like this Babaton one or my Mackage leather jacket in the summer, but know that I'll soon be shoulder-robing with my long coats too. I always love adding a third piece to my outfit and this jacket was great to throw over top my romper since it helps add some structure and femininity to the outfit. The shoulder robe also provides maximum assistance especially when you're wearing a skin-baring piece. This romper has a peek-a-boo back but I prefer not to have it always exposed so slinging on a jacket over your shoulders quickly conceals it, but can also be quickly removed because it's not fully worn.

Since purchasing this Club Monaco Lyndsey romper, I’ve discovered countless ways to dress it up or dress it down. It’s one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe, but unfortunately will need to say goodbye to it after today for the next three seasons. So here's to one last wear with it dressed up and paired with my Valentinos and these two gorgeous marble cuffs courtesy of olive + piper.
