Talula Babaton printed silk kimono, Wilfred top, H&M leggings, Zara patent ballet flats, Mango purse, F21 necklace

With nothing better to do on a Saturday mid-afternoon, Terrance and I decided to wander down Main Street Unionville, which is literally five minutes away from his house. I opted to wear this recently purchased lightweight silk kimono for the day out in the beaming sun. Refusing this purchase was not an option after I felt the delicacy of the silk and took notice of the beautiful floral pattern. I paired this kimono with a simple top and slipped on my new pair of patent ballet flats. What I love most about patent is that it requires little to no maintenance.

I’m delighted to see the girls tomorrow for our annual garden party – looking forward to a filling barbecue, endless photo taking, and the hearty conversations that will stream into the night. Now I’m ending off the night with Third Eye Blind on repeat.

To end off the work week, my girlfriends, Annie and Bonnie, and I gathered together for a much anticipated trip down to Bobbette & Belle. I was impressed by this fine artisan patisserie right from the moment I entered - I admired the soft comfy set of couches which gave the place a living room feel, the beautiful art pieces (and plates) hung up on the walls, and the dangling chandeliers. I would love to live here and devour all the delicious sweets. After stepping out, we took a slight walk two streets down to pay a little visit to my old house. I grew up in this neighbourhood and regret that I couldn't appreciate it as much back when I was young.

Asides from having to walk in the unbearable and disgusting heat, it was a well spent few hours with my lovely girls!

Lush striped top, F21 shorts and sandals, Saks Fifth Avenue necklace, Mango purse, assorted bracelets

A casual attire from yesterday’s family day outing to Ikea to hunt down bleached white curtains for our newly installed windows. The beautifully draped form of this top is eye-grabbing and perfectly suited for a cool, sunny day. I managed to pick it up on sale from a local boutique in Hamilton for $25!

The loaded funnel cake in the last photo was from a little trip up to Wasaga Beach over the weekend. I avoided taking any photos as we were all drenched in sweat from the sweltering heat haha .. gross.

Hope everyone had a happy Monday!

Yesterday a few of the girls got together to welcome a friend's arrival from Windsor for a short visit. We wandered down to Main Street Unionville for a late afternoon stroll figuring that it would be a beautiful place to visit and photograph. We pranced around under the beaming and blissful sun and captured as many photos as possible to savor the moment. Even if we're minutes away or miles apart, nothing changes.

This past Thursday, Kristy, Jess and I decided to gather together for Summerlicious at Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill. I threw together a last minute outfit before heading out and although I didn't want to wear a coat in the scorching heat, it saved me from having a potential Marilyn Monroe moment. In the short hours, we managed to fit in a discussion regarding shopping, travel, and work. The dessert we had was probably the best part of the meal, but we can't complain about a $25 three-course dinner. It's too bad that we couldn't get a picture together, but it was nice seeing you girls!
