This watch has become my favourite piece of accessory since purchasing it a few days ago. I tend to gravitate towards all-things-gold so this goes perfectly with all my other gold bracelets and necklaces. Worn with a typical work attire, which was actually my initial reason for purchase. I have been irritated with having to carry my phone around with me everywhere and not being able to tell the time in meetings so this resolves the issue completely.
I'm looking forward to spending the next few hours browsing through a compiled list of fashion show videos on my iPad before hitting the lights. This calm, peaceful weather puts me in such a lazy mood and makes me want to lay in bed all day.

Someone like you

Photo diary to note the gorgeous afternoon spent over at Centre Island last weekend to celebrate Terrance and I’s two year anniversary. We stayed away from carrying out the typical anniversary dinners and instead spent it lying under the golden sun after taking a ferry over to the island. We ended the memorable day with a funnel cake with vanilla ice cream, topped with fresh strawberries and icing sugar. All I have to say is that I am sincerely grateful for his loving heart.

The colors of the morning are inside your eyes

I’ve tucked away this Chloe clutch for a good few months now and I figured that it’s about time to break it out again. I love the pop of colour it adds to my monochromatic outfits and how light it is to carry around. Wearing this outfit out to a nearby restaurant to celebrate father’s day and my mom’s birthday. You may have noticed already that it’s the same blouse from my previous post, but in white.
So far, the day has been beautiful and I wish I could have spent my afternoon at the beach soaking in some sun (my legs desperately need it and a Monday-Friday 9-5 job has made it nearly impossible for me to tan). I’m awaiting summer’s end to bask in the sun-drenched weather in Cuba – at least I hope that will still be the plan. It will also be my first time flying so I’m pretty thrilled!
P.S. Ignore the awkward eye in the first photo - I was in the middle of blinking haha. Oh, and I've finally removed my nose piercing ;)
A beautiful fall
June 14, 2011

Here are the rest of the photos from Terrance's birthday last week. We woke up earlier than usual to sneak in some time for brunch and a trip down to the falls. The day was filled with the perfect amount of sun (but produced an overwhelming amount of heat) and an adventure back to the city to celebrate the second half of his birthday at Guu and bowling. It was a wonderful weekend that I wish had lasted longer.
Ivory fringe

Minimalist outfit so I wouldn't take anything away from the dress or shoes. I wore this dress on Saturday to celebrate Terrance’s birthday. I’m very fond of the dainty fringe and the lovely satin sweetheart top. I can’t say that these heels were the most comfortable to walk in throughout my trip at the Falls, but I love how well it complements the dress.
Last night, the MasterCard Canada folks got the opportunity to attend a VIP screening of the 20th anniversary of Thelma & Louise (starring Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis) at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. I would have stayed until the end if I didn’t have to make it home in time for course selections. It was a fun low-budget film from the 90s focusing primarily on women’s rights. We were also gifted with 90s inspired gradient brown sunglasses and got the chance to see Susan and Geena on stage. It was too bad that Brad Pitt didn’t show up. The stylish interns have decided to wear the sunglasses in for work tomorrow morning so hopefully I’ll have an outfit post to show – it’s also White Wednesdays for the interns tomorrow ;)
Beautiful things out of dust

Over the weekend, Terrance and I headed up to Niagara Falls to celebrate his 22nd birthday. Little did he know, it was a surprise party that I have been planning in the last month. It makes me all giddy knowing that the surprise actually went better than planned – hopefully it managed to lighten him up from his dreary afternoon mood.
We had dinner at The Keg that was partially overlooking the Falls, hung around Casino Niagara (and lost $20 at the slots, which was the maximum amount that I was willing to lose), and played games at D&B until late into the night. It was a much needed night after spending weeks in an office despite how tired we both were on the day of. Not to mention, I was just on the brink of healing from my cold that I caught a few days before. Hope he had a wonderful fun-filled birthday weekend! <3

Be prepared to see more outfits with trousers and blouses because it seems to be the only few things that I will be wearing this summer as a result of work. Last photo reveals the pair of Pradas that I managed to pick up for sale at Holt Renfrew Last Call, which I am hoping to wear out this weekend to celebrate Terrance's 22nd birthday!
I know that I've been slacking on replying to comments, but I've been honestly running in and out of the house non-stop lately so I haven't quite had the chance to sit down to do so. I will try my best to reply to as many as possible during my social media hours at work and maybe before bed (when I figure out how to properly use my iPad). Hope everyone is having a fantastic week and enjoying the nice, warm breeze!
