The boyfriend stayed over again this weekend. The sunless days just kills so it's nice to stay indoors with a little bit of company. By far the only rainy day where I actually didn't feel miserable. Sorry for the lack of outfit posts, but I got a bit too lazy. To compensate, I took photos of food, wine, and miscellaneous items. Wasn't too swept away by the taste of the two wines, but I must say that the Wild Vines did taste better - probably because it had a tint of strawberry flavour in it and it didn't lack taste like the Fuzion shiraz. Watched UP with him again (but this time, as my boyfriend rather than my best friend)- probably the cutest movie ever. Haha, first time making fried rice and it surprisingly tastes good. Never felt so accomplished in life. The tortilla with Nutella and strawberries & bananas tastes lovely. Threw it all together for breakfast this morning (not the best time to have Nutella and fruits together, but it was healthy). Would probably be more suitable for a dessert course, but I was lacking food in the house. Definitely not anticipating the upcoming midterms starting this Friday - going on hiatus for awhile ..

I'm a sucker for films which consists of romance and fashion. Love how Audrey Tautou can pull off the boyish look and still manage to look gorgeous. Such a beautiful film - can't wait to watch it!






Nothing better than sweet treats and art (history). Though the million pages of writing does tempt me to put the book away and just snuggle in under my sheets. These green tea rice cakes are the perfect complement to a productive day of reading.

Broken dreams and endless nights

Spent the entire day and night craving for a hazelnut crepe with strawberries and bananas. My life was devoted to the library today.. (how dorky). I literally sat there from 2:30-10PM working on a Marketing group team contract and .. reading. I was so set on watching Gossip Girl on my break, but instead I gave it up and completed my two chapters of readings! lol (which was brutal since the chapters were longgggggg). Had a two hour meeting afterward (at the same library) with the CASS (Canadian Asian Student Society) group. It's depressing to find that I spent practically my entire day .. and night at the same library today. And it continues as midterms gets closer. But, I will probably be doing all my studying at the sauna next week since it was the place to be when in desperate need of relaxation. What is perfect about it is that you basically get the entire sauna to yourself, almost always. No distractions, pure studying. I've been feeling so dull and sick lately - maybe it's just the weather, but something doesn't feel quite right. I need some sweets to hearten myself.. Goooodnight darlings, xo

Finally took a picture with this lovely bag of mine :) I've been using it for school and it's perfection! It does get quite heavy with the laptop inside, but I can't expect it not to be. It goes with practically any outfit and it is suitable for any weather condition - it's love. Anyways, the boyfriend came to stay with me for the weekend which is amazing. Spending the Saturday at the library probably isn't the weekend I imagined it to be, but we both need to do our readings since midterms are coming up in a few weeks. Celebrated one of the boys (from upstairs) birthday yesterday. The cake that my housemate made for him was heavenly. Smothered with french vanilla frosting - garnished with chocolate wafers and grated chocolate. I hope he had a sweet 20th.

Picked up this darling on Friday after coming back from Mac. It's a beauty isn't it? And it's perfect.. simply because it's big enough to hold my laptop so I can take it to school! I can't believe I'm already back at McMaster. At least I got to see the boyfriend a few times before we both had to leave again. Had dim sum with the fam and the boy this morning - haha, my mom thinks that he's sweet :) (little does she know that he's not only my best friend, but also my boyfriend). / I'm already hoping for the week to end, even though it hasn't even started. Waiting for the weekend to come just tends to make the wait twice as long (did that make any sense? lol).

Falling asleep to noise coming from the boys upstairs and waking early in the morning to find myself with a fever for the past two days really sucks. I'm not down for anything at all at this moment in time. I just want to hide under my sheets from morning to night. Being sick on the first day of classes is horrible and the boring lectures doesn't make anything better. Hoped for my Marketing class to be amazing, but after five minutes of class, I was already beginning to fall asleep. Accounting was even worse - no talking, no texting, no cellphones, no laptop. In other words, everything is strictly accounting/business related. Basically, there's really no incentive for me to even attend that class, especially since the lectures are located in the furthest building. However, I don't usually like skipping classes so I'm most likely going to end up in pretty much .. all of the lectures (or so I hope). Back to Toronto tomorrow, yayyy. Excited to see the boyfriend after not seeing him for a good week or so. Have a great night darlings!

Woke up bored so I grabbed a pair of scissors and cut up my perfectly fine French Connection beater. I kind of like it though so it all works out :) / Went out today with a few school friends and just chilled. Took a little walk down to McMaster .. because we just miss school that much. Had sushi/dim sum for dinner and it was delicious. I adore how they serve dim sum and sushi at the same restaurant - and it's all-you-can-eat. I love it. Didn't do much besides eat, chill and lounging out at a friend's place. Glad that I finally went out after rotting here for .. a day haha. Summer days has drifted away and school is about to begin in 3 days. I guess I could say that I am excited, but at the same time.. I wish Summer would stay, forever.

A few photos from a few nights ago at a friend's surprise early birthday. Some photos are silly, but fun. Yes, I am the one responsible for the cake in his face (yay!). Purchased two cakes - one purposely for caking him and the other one.. to eat. He enjoyed the cake so I had to give it to his face, twice. The boys had their beers, while I stood in front of the barbecue.. cooking for them (cause obviously, that's what girls do right? kidding). I hope he enjoyed the night out and I wish him a happy early 23rd.
