I've been looking into purchasing my first DSLR, but I haven't quite made up my mind on which to get yet. I've looked at several reviews and came down to the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi and the Nikon D60. I am not exactly sure which will be the perfect fit for me since I have never owned a DSLR personally. Well, hopefully I will be able to make up my mind and purchase before the end of summer. This surely gives me enough time to save up for one and seek for advice on the best DSLRs. I'm willing to give the Canon Rebel XSi the benefit of the doubt and await what it has to offer for me though. It does appear on the pricey range, so I'm hoping for great results to come out of it. The Nikon D60 on the other hand, I am still unsure of since there are many other models and I would probably be quick to regret buying the not-so-latest model. This will just have to wait though, considering that I do have a midterm to write tomorrow afternoon and I'm still preparing notes as of now, but this camera search is keeping me off tracked. Anyways, wish me luck.

Something Sweet .. .

Rain or shine, it was a beautiful day regardless - because the rainbow came out after the rain anyways, but too bad my camera died before I was able to capture a photo of it. It was a very delightful day being able to finally get the chance to check out Dufflet Pastries, which was great! Not only the desserts, but as well as the atmosphere hence why I have so many photos posted up. I kind of got a little out of hand with the flower didn't I? I couldn't help myself since it was tres tres cute! It actually inspired me to pick out something similar the next time I stop by at Ikea. It will be a perfect combination to go with my milk chocolate painted walls, which will soon be done - soon enough after my landlord builds my closet for my room. I'm so excited!! I'm anticipating the days counting down til summer where the nice weather will set in. Until then, I will have to wait until I can finally go back to Queen St. Next time, I'm going to actually take the time to check out the shops there. They have some pretty awesome antique stores / dessert places which appears to be quite fancy.

By far the most creative item I have ever seen. Everyone loves easy accessibility and this one satisfy that term perfectly. I would kill to strut down the streets with one of these!

Oh the beauty of downtown Toronto. .. mind the fact of all the creeps and hobos down there who approach you every five minutes to ask for change. Anyhow, today was quite exciting because I haven't had such a short shift in awhile and I finally got to get together with a few friends to just hang out :) Ugh, sucks that it was a Sunday though since all the stores were practically closed by the time we got downtown. At least it gave us the chance to just walk around Queen St. and get some exercise out of that haha .. though my feet were killing me from my previous long, double shifts. / On a side note, my friends and I drove past my old area where I used to live and decided to stop by. There is quite a change, but it was nice taking a stroll down memory lane ..

Bliss.

Mm, the sense of euphoria. Two friends and I went to Alice Fazooli's for dinner the other night and it was amazing. My entree was not as good as I expected because the pasta was quite salty, but I got my friends to try it and they didn't think so, so I'm assuming that it's just me. However, the dessert (Mascarpone Cheesecake and the Strawberry-vanilla Sorbetto) made me feel as if I was on cloud 9. It's definitely a must-try if you ever happen to stop by at Fazooli's.

The weather was lovely today. It was 30 degrees out so I threw on a jumpsuit I purchased from f21. It would have been the perfect cherry on top if I had gone to the beach rather than work. However, I still managed to slip in some time to go out to my backyard porch for a tan though! I'm excited for the upcoming days with the bright sun :) And hopefully I will be able to enjoy all this sun soon enough before summer ends

Last one, I promise

Hehe, purchased two new rings from a booth that came by my campus a few days ago :) There were so many that I wanted, but I ended up choosing two of my faves. I picked up one, but helplessly, I went back for a second. I was on the verge of purchasing one last ring, but I realized it was enough for one day - and the ring looked somewhat like the second one anyways. I especially adore the first one in the picture which is a heart with wings and a crown - isn't it just adorable? It's perfect. The other ring that I picked up is simple with just a stud in the middle, but that's why I like it - simplicity.

Just got back not too long ago from Hamilton (because I go to school there). Three hour bus ride every time, which really sucks but I love Toronto way too much to not come back. On a side note, I finally got my job at Spring Rolls as a Bartender / cocktail waitress and will be starting tomorrow!! I applied as a Hostess at first, but all their positions are full and bartending positions were open .. and I definitely do not want to be a sample girl again :( lol yes, last year I stood outside of a Spring Rolls location and gave out coupons/samples. I don't mind being a part of the Marketing team again, but I would like to try something new :) Anyways, going to make some chocolate fondue now mmMm, toodles

Beautifully done. I came across these Christian Louboutin for Rodarte and Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte shoes and they are tres chic. They definitely bring out the fierceness in one. I would kill for a pair of these, but I'd probably kill myself when stepping into one. Not exactly the person who would be capable of walking down the streets for long in a pair of these..

Feels like I'm on cloud 9, everything is just perfect. The weather is beautiful, got most of my final grades back, and I have finally settled into my new place for school.
