You know that something is absolutely stunning when LIKEtoKNOW.it regrams it and receives 1,500+ Likes! Designed by the beautiful Brandy Pham, this cylinder bracelet was inspired by the architectural door hinges from her trip to Paris.

I would have to say that my style has evolved quite a bit within the last few months - one being the sudden gravitation towards pieces that are menswear-inspired, such as these super cute J.Crew mirror metallic oxfords. They were sold out online, but managed to score them on eBay. See below for some great alternatives!

Even though I've never been much of an athlete myself (does Grade 5 track and field count?), I've always loved the feeling of utmost comfort in sportswear. This sporty-meets-sophistication combo is absolutely brilliant, featuring a relaxed silhouette and slouchy pants. While I do feel that track pants are a tad masculine, pairing feminine accents easily does the trick in solving this. This is why I opted to upgrade these sleek side-striped joggers with a sophisticated racerback crop top, lace-up heels and elegant gold-plated bracelet. Sports fashion is such a great way to transition us into the next season, but I really can't believe there are only a few weeks left until summer is officially over!

Pretty Woman

Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills

As we begin to put away our sundresses and crop tops, I can't help but reflect on the amazing trip Terrance and I enjoyed just a few weeks back. Above are a few photos we captured in Beverly Hills. Upon first glance, it may seem like a street filled with high-end fashion boutique stores, but Rodeo Drive is absolutely beautiful and even more so when you see the lavish shopping district in person. I definitely had a "Pretty Woman" moment while we strolled down Rodeo Drive, but for the first time, I was more intrigued by the architecture than the shopping.

Ever since I watched No Strings Attached, I've been dreaming of visiting the Urban Light installation outside of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The installation consists of 202 restored cast-iron street lamps from the 1920s and 1930s, which at one point lit up the streets of Southern California. The historic lamp posts are beautiful during the day because you can very clearly see the patterns and designs that are etched into each one. I'm sure that it is even more magical at night, but we sadly didn't have enough time to go back.

In our whimsical, light-rose coloured midi skirts, Wendy and I stepped into the most beautiful cafe nestled in the heart of Leslieville - Bobbette & Belle. The rustic interior was furnished with wooden tables, gold-rimmed wall frames and vintage centerpieces which made it the perfect setting for the photos and video snippets we wanted to capture in our outfits. Of course, we wouldn't have been able to project this romantic-esque look without the help of our talented photographer and videographer, Dallas Kwok. It was an afternoon well-spent with great company and delectable sweet treats in a neighbourhood I adore. I grew up in this neighbourhood and spent most of my childhood bicycling along these streets so it was definitely a little bittersweet to be back here again. The neighbourhood has evolved so most over the last 10 years, but there are still some mom and pop shops that are still here, such as the B&B fish and chips place and corner convenience store, both of which I loved visiting as a little girl. I'm hoping to come back here to explore the quaint area before the summer ends!

For as long as I can remember, the J.Crew catalogues have served as the one-stop-shop for my 9 to 5 workwear inspiration. One of the few things that I learned while working in an office setting is that an outfit can completely change your attitude, as well as others' attitude towards you. Equipping yourself with a smart work wardrobe can help establish a lasting impression within the workplace and also help boost your self-esteem. For me, feeling confident is key and that is something that a great polished outfit can accomplish. What I love most about these J.Crew pleated crepe shorts is that they're simply designed for the workplace. Every detail is taken from a pair of tailored trousers, but cut short so that it is summer-appropriate. On weekends, a casual tee like this one can easily take this outfit down a notch so it doesn't seem like you're working overtime!
