Ever since Elizabeth and James came out with their feather trim blazer, I've fallen for anything with a feather trim and even made a failed attempt at DIY-ing one myself. I'm loving these navy pieces by tibi and how seasonally-appropriate they for the holidays. Work event or dinner party with your girlfriends? Tibi has you covered.

Last week, a small group of us were invited to an intimate event hosted by Destination Femme and the Femme Network at MoRoCo Chocolat. I had the opportunity to meet other influencers in the industry and learn a little bit about Destination Femme and the Femme Network. I can't stress this enough, but an established community like this is extremely important for women, regardless of the industry that they're in. We need more opportunities like these to connect, learn and to inspire one another. Thank you for thinking of us df!
If you didn't get a chance to participate in my last giveaway, you're in luck! I've partnered with Destination Femme to give away the above items. I personally love these so I wanted to share them with you. Stackable gold rings, a subtle cat-eye, bold red lips, cheeky sweatshirt, Parisian handbook and a cup of warm cocoa are the few things you can't go wrong with this holiday season.

The roadtrip to Montreal this past weekend was just what the doctor ordered. We listened to the Serial podcast on our way there and back, which kept our minds off work and made the 5-hour long ride much more bearable. We traveled there with a very short itinerary which sometimes is an amazing thing for someone who has Type A personality and desire to make plans down to the minute. What we did have in our itinerary were Bota Bota, Old Montreal and their infamous poutine.
When we arrived, we checked into our rooms at the W Montreal Hotel and were blown away by the modern and gorgeous space (thank you for upgrading is to the Mega Room!). Wanting to waste little time, we quickly dropped our bags and went to explore the city. Within the short few days, we were able to walk around the Montreal Eaton Centre, have dinner at Shabu Shabu (btw, amazing authentic Korean BBQ!), unwind at the Bota Bota Spa, wander down the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal, have dinner at an apparent hidden gem (La Fayette) and lastly, give Le Cartet a second chance on Sunday brunch.

Top: Club Monaco sunny tee
Bottom: Forever 21 distressed boyfriend jeans (similar)
Shoes: JustFab 'Emmey' heels
Bag: Chloe Large Paraty Bag borrowed from JodidaysCloset
Bracelet: Brandy Pham cylinder bracelet
The above photos were captured from Sunday's photo shoot at the Aga Khan Museum. This site is absolutely stunning and I wish I had a glimpse of the interior. The tiled walls makes for the perfect backdrop, wouldn't you agree?
This week has been a whirlwind and I am so grateful that I will be removing myself for a few days with a road trip to Montreal. A few of us will be spending our time relaxing at the Bota Bota Spa overlooking Old Montreal, indulging in lots of poutine and rediscovering the beauty of a place close to home. The entire city is breathtaking, but I'm looking forward to stroll down the cobblestone streets on Rue Saint-Paul the most. When I was in Montreal with Terrance last November, my SD card got corrupted and I was unable to recover any of my photos. Most of them being in Old Montreal - it was the closest I've ever been to feeling like I was roaming around in France so I was devastated. I'll have a new SD card and camera this time so hopefully I will be able to capture most of the city to share with you.

One of the first things I do when it starts to rain is protect my bag. Whether it's a crossbody, tote or clutch, my immediate reaction is to shield it with all I have (in most cases, usually just my two small hands because I always forget to carry an umbrella). In my last post, I shared with you a story of my beloved handbag - the Prada Saffiano Lux tote. You can only imagine how crushed I would be to see it get drenched in the rain.
Enter the Es-Cubed bag cover. It is the perfect "bag"brella for rainy days and the cute charm designs are a plus! It's lightweight and can be easily tucked away in your bag when you're not using it. Today I'm giving away both a small cover and a medium cover to one lucky winner. Here's how:
